Like it or not, your clients see you as an authority on everything in beauty and fashion from lipstick color to plastic surgery procedures. This interactive overview of cosmetic surgery is taught by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with over 20 years of experience. This course will provide you with the knowledge you need to intelligently discuss plastic surgical procedures with your clients. Traditional, cutting edge and experimental techniques and procedures will be discussed. In addition, you will learn how to help your clients choose a qualified Plastic Surgeon and outpatient/office plastic surgery facility in your geographic area.

Microdermabrasion

Duration: 2 hours from 7 p.m. 9 p.m.
Class Tuition: $250

Learn the theory and practice of this extremely popular (and remunerative) technique for skin rejuvenation and restoration. A Board Certified Plastic Surgeon will discuss the theory and practice of particle skin resurfacing and demonstrate the technique. Students will then have the opportunity to practice these techniques upon each other under the supervision of the physician instructor.

Pre/Post Face and Eye Lift

Duration: 1 day, 10 a.m. 5 p.m.
Class Tuition: $250

The trauma of cosmetic surgery requires in-depth understanding on the part of the esthetician. Learn special before and after procedures that should be employed when treating pre and post surgery clients. These procedures offer solutions to common surgical side effects such as swelling and scarring while enhancing the overall results of a face lift or eye tuck.
