Educational Seminar:  Cosmetic Surgery 101,     Microdermabrasion

Cosmetic Surgery 101: Dr. Michael Valdes, A Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, teaches this interactive overview of cosmetic surgery.  The course provides students with the information needed to competently discuss various plastic surgery procedures with spa clients.  Traditional, cutting-edge and experimental techniques and procedures will be covered.  Attendees will learn how to help clients select a qualified surgeon/outpatient facility in their geographic area.

Microdermabrasion: Learn the theory and practice of this extremely popular (and highly profitable) technique for skin rejuvenation and restoration.  Dr. Michael Valdes, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, will discuss the theory and practice of particle skin resurfacing and demonstrate the technique.  Students will then have the opportunity to practice these techniques on each other under the supervisor of the physician instructor.
